Can you hear back there??
March 31st, 2006Recently (March 26th), I had an opportunity to perform for the first time Live! I did my first Stage performance, well more of a Cafe but still live and in public view (because there was an audience).
This experience was one that I will never forget because it was exciting to go to rehearsals, which I quickly realized that doing theatre is more work than film, just because of all the preparation that is required. All that aside, it was a whole lot of fun, I had an opportunity to work with a good bunch of actors (Diana, Caitlan, Mike, Ricardo) and was directed by Martin from La Micro Theater. This also marked my first on stage/camera/modeling/etc., kiss.
At first when you think about having to do a kiss scene the butterflys come into play because you aren’t used to kissing someone you hardly know, at least I’m not, but when you get into character and realize that the scene and the character calls for the kiss then it puts all of those thoughts behind you and you just move forward. Not to mention, introducing yourself to the actress’ husband before you perform the scene helps improve your life span
… lol
So all in all, great experience, a lot of work went into preparation but well worth it. Hopefully I’ll get to do it again and invite more family and friends to attend to see me perform. By the way, I will also be putting up some pics from the show when I get them…hopefully soon
Next stop, no idea…talent manager, casting directors, etc…call me!
Guess who is The Person of the Year? …
December 19th, 2005I bet you are wondering what am I talking about? Well, Time Magazine every selects a person or persons to be on the cover of their magazine as the selected “Person of The Year”. Would you believe that they selected me??
Well neither would I…
However, if you were one of the many people like I was to submit your photo online via their website then you were lucky as I to have it displayed in Time Square.
Therefore, if you were visiting Time Square in New York City on December 9th, you would have seen my face plastered on the TV screen…So what do you think? Do I make a good “Person of The Year” ? …
To Model or Not To Model, that is the question…?
December 2nd, 2005So what do you think? Do I have what it takes to do Print work? Well if you asked me, I’d say “no way” but apparently someone liked my mug enough to hire me for a gig :).
So if you see my face online or in brochures for this company named SAP.com don’t be surprised. Oh by the way, the pay was not too bad and they fed me which is always good and did I mention that I was put through hair, make up and a stylist routine…well that’s the norm, nothing special about that actually but figured I’d mention it.
When I get some snapshots of the shoot, I’ll post them. Until that time, you’ll have to just take my word for it… By the way, the photographer for this gig was Alex Tehrani, he’s really good and I’m happy to be yet another one of the many people he’s taken a photo of.
Running Down West…
October 25th, 2005This past weekend, I had the privilege of playing the role of Cashier in the movie Running Down West directed by Josh Dobson, along side the lead actors Daryl Crittenden (Jesse) and Abigail Savage (Danielle).
It was a late night shoot in a C-town Supermarket in Queens but it was a lot of fun and I have to give credit to the crew because it ran smoothly and very professional from the outset. From the director down, the crew were very professional and probably one of the best crews I’ve had an opportunity to work with in my short acting career.
Take a look at the trailer for the movie Running Down West and stay tuned for the flick which should be hitting the Film Festivals shortly…
Dirty Shield released…
September 27th, 2005Take a look at some stills taken from the movie in the photo gallery and here’s a teaser below ![]()

“Dirty Shield” formerly “Cuidado”
July 14th, 2005It’s close to that time, my movie debut in a Video store near you (Blockbuster, Netflix, WalMart, Hollywood Video & Amazon.com).
Just got a letter from the director and the movie has been renamed to “Dirty Shield” and should be in stores on Sept. 20th 2005. I’m excited and can’t wait to get my hands on the final DVD copy.
If you want a copy, you can pre-order on Amazon.com through Blogadeal.com
Got Gmail?
June 5th, 2005Gmail has become very popular and at the moment is only open to those who are invited to use the service. Not sure what Google is waiting for to make it open to the general public but oh well… So as it stands now, there are a bunch of sites that you can probably get an invite from but if you don’t want search for those sites and want to open a Gmail account now then just drop me a comment here and I will send you an invite. I have about 100 left!
