Bringing it back to basics…
December 29th, 2006Just a few short phrases/words/etc. that’s been running through my head lately…
A simple man who needs to stay focused on the positive things in life…
Timeless…
Resolutions…
Driven…
Mine Again…
An unexamined life is not worth living
“Happy Holidays! May you fulfill all your holiday wishes & resolutions for a happy new year!”
December 24th, 2006Resolution
December 19th, 2006I’m not a big fan of Nick Lachey but these lyrics/song caught my ear… For those who don’t know, he’s referring to his divorce
Nothing but an empty page
Breathing in an open space
Captured by your moment’s grace again
There’s so much I left behind
Even more that waits in time
Everything’s so undefined
I’m standing on the edge of my fear
And I see it clear
Here’s my resolution
I’m letting go
All I need to learn is along this road
And I just want to be the best man I can be
Breathe, it’s my resolution
Living life without her there
Finding soul is where I stand
And learning how to love again
And all I want is something real
That I can feel
Here’s my resolution
I’m letting go
All I need to learn is along this road
And I just wanna be the best man I can be
‘Cause here’s my resolution
I’m letting go
All I need to learn is along this road
And I just wanna be the best man I can be
Breathe, it’s my resolution
My resolution….What’s yours?

My $.02 on Myspace…
December 11th, 2006I’ve often been asked what I think about myspace, well honestly it’s a cool tool for social networking because it reunites people and it allows you to meet a lot of different people from different walks of life. I personally don’t have a myspace page any longer because I figured it’d be easier to just have one site for all my info and that’s this site ![]()
By the way, I’m going to try and keep this site true to its form and just post acting related stuff with an occasional random thought on a particular topic to let you know I’m human…
Lastly, if you are looking for a Myspace alternative and are in the entertainment industry then check out ActorsConnect.com
Here’s my opinion on accomplishments
December 4th, 2006Accomplishments are what you make of them…Some may say I’m a fortunate man because I’ve accomplished a lot in life but the way I see it, I still have yet to put my mark on this world, let alone my life!
In my years of life, have I really accomplished what God had destined for me? This is a question that I think many of us must ask ourselves.
I think we can accomplish many things with our lives. I’ll break it down the following way:
- Personal accomplishments - these are things we strive to make ourselves happy in life. Whether that’s getting an “A” in our English class or an “A+” on our Philosophy class. This can even be making it big in the entertainment industry.
- Professional - getting promoted at work, making a boat load of money, getting to travel around the world, etc.
- life - falling in love, loving life, freckles, cars, etc…
ok, I’m done rambling…leave your comments below if you like…
Drifting - by Kit McCallum
November 20th, 2006I sometimes find I’m drifting
Through this life without effect;
I often wonder if I’m truly
Worth what I’ve been blessed.
I search through days that have been hard,
To try to understand,
The many trials that I have known,
The life that I have had.
You see me in my daily grind,
So confident and strong;
Yet when I am alone, I question
Just where I belong.
I often try too hard I find,
To analyze and guess,
To scrutinize, investigate
My life I will confess.
For somewhere deeper, there must be
Some meaning to this life,
Some way to make a difference,
Give a reason for this strife.
Is there some hidden meaning?
Some agenda to be found?
A greater purpose waiting
If I care to hang around?
It teases and it taunts me,
Always slightly out of sight;
A hazy vision out of reach,
Where darkness hides the light.
I struggle to bring clarity
To what awaits me there,
And yet this weak illusion
Always fades before my stare.
It seems the harder that I try,
To focus through the haze,
Just serves to add more questions,
Through my endless, tired gaze.
Perhaps I’m trying just too hard,
To understand it all,
For can we ever truly know
Just what we have in store?
Each incident, each moment passed,
Just adds upon the next,
But in the end, will I find truth …
Or will I be perplexed?
Perhaps I make it harder
Than it has to be sometimes,
But will my searching bring to me
My meaning over time?
Or will it leave me broken,
And confused as I feel now,
While questions bring no solitude,
To this, my wrinkled brow.
Performing in Newark NJ
November 5th, 2006So we performed “Lessons Learned” in the Newark public library. This was interesting because the audience was closer to us during our performance and we had a mixture of students from all different age groups. All in all, we performed really well and the audience enjoyed and I believed learned some pretty good lessons.
I also had my first taste of “stardom” with some of the kids from the audience wanting to take my picture after the show and wanting to take a picture with me. Was a great feeling and at the end of the day I hope they were able to learn some valuable lessons through our characters. Pictures of the show can be found in the gallery and stay tuned for a brain dump from our next show which should take place in mid-Nov ![]()
