The last project I worked on in 2008 was a short modeling gig or as it’s called in the biz, stock photography.
Stock photos are sold as royalty free images to people that may need specific photos for a project they are working on. They pay one price for unlimited use of the picture. In my web development days, back in the mid 90′s, [damn I'm getting old] I used royalty free images on websites I was working on at the time. So the long and short of it, I had the opportunity to work with this company www.ImageSource.com and took some photos, with a group of other models, that will hopefully be up for sale on their site Feb 2009.
Now that we got that out of the way, lets see what 2009 holds for me.
So what do you think? Do I have what it takes to do Print work? Well if you asked me, I’d say “no way” but apparently someone liked my mug enough to hire me for a gig
.
So if you see my face online or in brochures for this company named SAP.com don’t be surprised. Oh by the way, the pay was not too bad and they fed me which is always good and did I mention that I was put through hair, make up and a stylist routine…well that’s the norm, nothing special about that actually but figured I’d mention it.
When I get some snapshots of the shoot, I’ll post them. Until that time, you’ll have to just take my word for it… By the way, the photographer for this gig was Alex Tehrani, he’s really good and I’m happy to be yet another one of the many people he’s taken a photo of.
