A little Frost in the day

Well Robert Frost of course.  I remember reading several poems in my college days, although it’s hard to believe it’s been a little over a decade since graduation and the memory is a bit fuzzy.  While watching a late night episode of cops and surfing the web I stumbled upon a classic poem from him, “The Road Not Taken”.

Now I don’t have any inspiration or insight into the meaning behind this poem.  Some may read this poem and interpret it to be positive, while others will see the glass half full (or however that saying goes).  Whatever your thoughts are, you can read the full poem several times at different points in your life and it’s almost guaranteed to have you reflect differently on your life.

Here’s an excerpt of this classic piece of work below, link to full poem

“I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. “

So stressed lately

The happy go lucky, me, has been very stressed lately. Certain things in my world just haven’t been going my way and although I try to stay focused on the positive, this thing called stress finds a way to get the best of me.

I’m know I’m not the only one feeling stressed and usually stress in moderation is not a big deal but it’s really taking it’s toll on me…Maybe I should take up yoga or MMA…hmmm, what to do to get rid of being stressed..?

My sports commentary…

Happy that Mets finally put to rest a painful season with a home sweep but on a brighter note Big Blue kicked butt again this week!!
